The unique folding design of the TD-1KPX2 ensures that the kit can be sealed in seconds, allowing you to transport or store it easily without having to remove the pads and cymbals. And despite its small dimensions and light weight, its durable state offers a rock-solid stability for any performance style. Setup takes place quickly and easily, so you can play the TD-1KPX2 anywhere: at home, on a live performance or in an exercise room. Just add a single or dual kick pedal, and you can start drumming!

You can partially fold the stand and pads, making the kit smaller and you can easily put it in a corner of your room. When you fully fold the kit, you reduce the dimensions even further, making the drumset fit perfectly in its matching carrying case * for compact storage or easy transportation. Setting up the TD-1KPX2 is a pint of a penny: You only need the matching drum tuning key and you're ready to play in seconds. Expand all open, adjust positions of pads and pads, place an acoustic bass drum pedal (not included) and start drumming.

Compact pads and cymbals with authentic playing feel

Even though the TD-1KPX2 pads and cymbals are compact, it does not affect the gaming comfort.   The 8-inch PDX-8 and 6.5-inch PDX-6 mesh head V-Pads feature Roland's amazing dual-triggering technology for accurate and even skin and edge detection. With the PDX-8 snare pad, the edge zone extends the path's diameter to 10-inch, allowing you to play comfortable and quiet rim shots. The CY-5 Cymbal Pads for the cymbal and hi-hat feature 10-inch playing surfaces, and a natural swing motion for a natural response and great play feeling. The cymbals have a separate arc and edge triggering and support chokes for a lifelike playing experience. The hi-hats provide smooth and subtle audio transitions from open to closed. Great to the TD-1KPX2 is also its ability to play dual bass drum patterns, thanks to the wider kick pad that allows playing with two acoustic bass drum pedals next to each other.

The TD-1KPX2 is not only fun for playing on its own - it's great to play music using your computer. The built-in USB-MIDI interface makes it easy to communicate with music software through one USB cable. You can, among other things, transfer your drum party to the recording software on your computer, thus incorporating a live drum of your latest masterpiece. Or, you may want to learn basic drum techniques, using the optional DT-1 V-Drums Tutor software.

Adjustable to silence silently

Playing style is essential for most drummers when they drum and practice at home. The TD-1KPX2 contains silent mesh head pads for strings and toms, and an ultrasound FD-9 Hi-Hat Control Pedal. And by replacing a traditional single acoustic bass drum pedal with the optional KT-9 knock-less bass drum pedal, you'll prevent constant noise from the beating sounding your neighbors or housewives. This set-up is so quiet that you can even use it at night to practice headphones!

The space saving PM-03 Personal Monitor with its 2.1 channel speaker is the perfect partner to enhance your drums at home.   The DAP-3X V-Drums Accessory Package includes everything you need to start playing on the TD-1KPX2, including a few hickory drums, an acoustic bass drum pedal and a drumstool. The TDM-3 Drummat is specially designed for portable V-Drums and reduces vibration through the floor during drumming. The mat also protects the floor from damage.
